What course formats does the ExxTend Learning™ Management System support?

SCORM, HTML, and PowerPoint are just a few of the course formats supported by ExxTend Learning.

What are my options if OverNite Software does not offer the course topic needed by my employees?

You can either create your own course using the course creation tools in ExxTend Learning™ or OverNite Software can work with you to create a custom course that will suit your team's needs.

What is Adaptive Training™?

Adaptive Training makes use of a dynamic interface to generate courses tailored to an employee's learning gaps. That is, the course is automatically generated according to an employee's incorrect answers on a pre-test.

What are Reusable Learning Objects?

A Reuseable Learning Object is simply a reusable test question coupled with its teaching content. When learning objects are stored independently in the ExxTend Learning database, they can be used in many different courses, dramatically reducing development time when a multi-course curriculum is needed.

How do I try your product?

It's simple. Just complete our online form and an OverNite Software representative will contact you about a complimentary test drive. You can also email info@overnitecbt.com.

How do I handle instructor-led training?

ExxTend Learning works in tandem with instructor-led training to help you book instructors, locations, and equipment for specific class sessions without fear of scheduling conflicts. Instructor-led training is categorized in the ExxTend Learning Management System (LMS) as a Register-type course, with specific classes and sessions defined for each course.

The ability to maintain a list of outside instructors is included in the Class Manager in the LMS. When it's time to assign an instructor to a class session, you can select from either company or outside instructors.

Other options allow you to define locations where the class sessions will be held, including facility capacity, address, directions, and more. When you are ready to specify equipment, ExxTend Learning also lets you list, define, and assign what you need for various sessions.

Does online training replace or supplement instructor-led training?

In general, online training is used to supplement instructor-led training, especially where physical skills must be demonstrated and tested. However, it is not uncommon for online training to be the primary knowledge source when demonstration of skills is not required.

Is customer support included with ExxTend Learning or do I pay extra?

Customer support is provided to designated training administrators at no charge from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST, excluding holidays. Twenty-four-hour customer support is available at additional cost.

How do I get course upgrades? Is there an additional cost?

Administrators are notified about course upgrades via email and by postings on the ExxTend Learning log-in screens. Updated courses are made available upon request only to preserve existing modifications during the upgrade process.

Course upgrades are available at no additional cost if your company has licensed a course or if the course is part of a library that has been licensed.
